TikTok Launches “Veteran Voices” with $10 Million Support

TikTok recently introduced a meaningful initiative called “Veteran Voices,” aimed at highlighting and supporting veterans and their families. Through this campaign, TikTok is committing $1 million to 10 nonprofit organizations focused on veteran services, providing a blend of direct cash donations and TikTok ad credits. This $10 million investment will help each organization amplify their reach, advocate for their causes, and support fundraising efforts.

The participating organizations include:

  • America’s Warrior Partnership
  • Elizabeth Dole Foundation
  • Independence Fund
  • IAVA
  • National Coalition for Homeless Veterans
  • Student Veterans of America
  • Team Rubicon
  • Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS)
  • Veterans of Foreign Wars
  • Wounded Warrior Project

The nonprofits will receive extensive training and resources to maximize their impact on TikTok, connecting with broader audiences and sharing compelling content that addresses vital veteran challenges, such as mental health, housing, and job opportunities. Leaders from each organization have expressed their gratitude, noting the enhanced ability to share veterans’ stories and highlight important issues facing this community.

#VeteransofTikTok: Spotlight on Creators

TikTok has also spotlighted 10 creators who actively raise awareness on veterans’ issues through educational and inspiring content. Each creator brings unique perspectives, from motivational speakers and veterans advocating mental health to business owners who share their journeys post-service. These creators will collaborate with the Veteran Voices program to craft powerful content, resonating deeply with both the veteran and TikTok communities. Some of these creators include:

  • @cattleguy (Hubbard, TX) – A Texas-based rancher sharing insights into the agricultural world.
  • @deshaunathespeaker (St. Louis, MO) – An Army veteran and motivational speaker advocating for women’s rights.
  • @patriotickenny (Mahtomedi, MN) – A Navy veteran known for his uplifting stories and dedication to supporting fellow veterans.

Supporting Veterans and Strengthening Community Engagement

The “Veteran Voices” program reflects TikTok’s commitment to fostering community support for veterans, allowing users to contribute directly to causes they care about through an upcoming donation sticker. This new feature enables TikTok’s large community to make direct donations, adding a tangible way to support veterans and their families.

In addition, TikTok has introduced the SOAR Together Veteran Business Accelerator, which provides entrepreneurial veterans with mentorship and training to boost their ventures. This, along with a new paid military leave policy, showcases TikTok’s long-term dedication to supporting veterans beyond the holiday observances.

By partnering with nonprofits and veteran creators, TikTok’s “Veteran Voices” initiative not only amplifies awareness around veterans’ issues but also builds a network where veterans feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
