Additionally, you can favorite stickers from conversations, including those created using cutouts, for quick reuse.

Personalized Nicknames for Friends

DMs now let you add personalized nicknames to chats, making it easier to identify friends or share inside jokes. Customize usernames for simplicity or just for fun!

To set a nickname, open a chat, tap the chat name at the top, and select “Nicknames.” Choose a username to assign a nickname. These nicknames only appear within your chats and can be updated or controlled at any time.

Location Sharing Made Simple

Meeting up with friends is now more convenient with location-sharing features in DMs. You can share your live location for up to an hour or pin a spot on the map to coordinate plans, perfect for events or group gatherings.

Live location sharing is private, only visible to participants in a specific chat, and expires automatically. You can stop sharing your location at any time, and a clear indicator at the top of the chat reminds you when live location sharing is active. Remember to prioritize your privacy and share your location only with trusted individuals.

Currently, location-sharing features are limited to select regions.
