Highlights from Four Years with HackerOne
Since the program’s launch in 2020, TikTok has collaborated with over 450 security researchers, addressing more than 1,000 vulnerabilities to strengthen our platform’s defenses. Through these efforts, TikTok has awarded over $1.6 million in bounties, ensuring proactive security measures for the community.
In August 2024, TikTok participated in a Live Hacking Event alongside top ethical hackers from 29 countries, coinciding with DEF CON in Las Vegas. This fast-paced initiative saw over $720,000 awarded to participating researchers in just 20 days.
